Buying with NDIS funding
Participants, carers, plan managers and support coordinators can buy from Kontact Medical. Tell us how the plan is managed and we’ll put the participant’s details on the quote and the tax invoice.
01 How the plan is managed
-
Self-managed
You pay us, then claim the cost from the plan yourself. We give you a tax invoice with the participant’s name and NDIS number.
-
Plan-managed
We send the quote and the invoice to your plan manager, and they pay us from the plan. Give us their name or email when you request a quote.
-
Managed by the NDIA
Agency-managed funds can only be paid to registered NDIS providers. Call us before you order and we’ll tell you whether we can claim for this plan.
02 What to send us
- The participant’s name and NDIS number
- How the purchase will be paid (one of the three above)
- Your plan manager’s name or email, if the plan is plan-managed
- The delivery address, and any stairs, lifts or narrow doorways
We use these details only to prepare the quote and invoice.
03 Before you buy
- Check the item fits the participant’s plan. Some assistive technology needs approval in the plan before it’s bought; your plan manager, support coordinator or therapist can tell you.
- Compare the product’s dimensions and safe working load with the participant’s needs. They’re on every product page.
- Bulky items are delivered to the address you give us. Every item has a set delivery rate, shown on its product page; remote areas and larger orders are priced for your address before you pay.
