Large equipment travels differently from parcels. Here’s how it works when you buy from Kontact Medical.
01 How delivery is priced
Every item has a set delivery rate, shown below and on its product page. Delivery to remote areas, and larger orders, depends on where it’s going and how it gets inside, so we price it for your address before you pay.
02 Delivery rates
In AUD including GST. Per-item rates cover up to 3 items of a type in one order; for more, we price the delivery for you.

Small-item rates are worked out on the small items in your order. Remote areas, and the NT for items marked above, are priced for your address before you pay.

04 Measuring for delivery
Large items need a clear path from the kerb to the room. Before you order, measure in millimetres:
- Doorways: the clear width with the door fully open, from the door face to the opposite frame.
- Hallways and turns: the narrowest width, and the width of any corner you need to turn.
- Stairs: the stair width, the number of steps and any landings or turns.
- Lifts: the door width, and the internal depth and diagonal of the car.
Compare these with the product’s dimensions in its specifications, and tell us about stairs, lifts or tight doorways when you order.
